  • A vast subcontinent like India with a population of almost 1.5 billion people can present enormous logistical challenges for international visitors. A custom AGM India Tour cuts through the chaos, complexities and frustrations delivering a safe, secure and seamless touring experience from the moment Manoj meets and greets you at your arrival airport to the moment of departure at the end of your tour. Manoj will pick you up at your hotel at an agreed time each day, tour with you as your personal driver throughout the day and drop you back at your hotel whenever you choose to end your day with him. It really is that simple!

  • Simply complete your details on the Contact Us page and Manoj or one of his team will contact you for more information by phone, WhatsApp, Zoom or email.

    A deposit of 50 per cent of the total tour cost is required once your booking is confirmed. Full payment is required two weeks prior to your arrival in India. Please note: Advance payments can be made via safe and easy bank transfer.

    Any discretionary gratuity you may choose to give prior to the end of your tour can be paid in cash in your preferred foreign currency.

  • More than two months before arrival: Full refund of your deposit

    Less than one month before arrival: 50 per cent of your deposit

    Less than two weeks before trip: No refund

  • All road touring including petrol, parking, tolls, local taxes, a First Aid box, 1 litre of bottled water per person per day while travelling, complimentary high-speed in-vehicle Wi-Fi, biscuits, tissues, hand sanitiser and sweet treats.

  • Hotel accommodations, restaurant dining, shopping and other personal outlays are at your own expense.

  • My car service is available from one-day city tours in New Delhi to multi-day tours of any duration of your choosing in Rajasthan and northern India. Clients typically spend anywhere between 5 and 30 days touring the region, but the trip duration is entirely up to you.

  • AGM India Tours is a specialised private driver and vehicle operator only. As such, we can provide all of your ground transportation but we are not able to book any flights, trains or accommodations for you.

  • During the initial consultation and booking process, Manoj can happily recommend the finest luxury, affordable and heritage hotels in each destination to suit your budget, tastes and needs. As AGM offers ground transportation only, clients are required to make all hotel bookings themselves in advance of their trip.

  • Manoj knows the best restaurants at each destination serving authentic and delicious local and regional Indian dishes and Western cuisine. He also take his clients to the finest local and regional arts, handicrafts, fabrics, homewares, tailoring and ready-to-wear Indian clothing stores that other drivers do not know about.

  • Clients can be taken to restaurants to dine on their own and at their own timing and expense or they can choose to dine with Manoj, the choice is theirs.

  • India has a network of reputable guest houses specifically for drivers touring with international clients. Once you have been dropped at your hotel at the end of each day’s touring, Manoj will retire to the local guest house for the night and pick you up at your hotel the next morning. Manoj pays for his own accommodations while travelling on tour.

  • At the end of your tour, it is customary in India to tip your driver if you have had an enjoyable trip. This can be presented in cash in the currency of your choice or the same easy bank transfer you paid for your initial deposit and tour. A typical minimum rate for an end-of-tour gratuity for your driver is between 1500 and 2000 INR (Indian Rupees) per day of your tour.

  • Yes, we can drop clients at a train station or airport and either meet them at the other end or arrange for another driver to meet and take care of them until your original driver arrives. This can be useful if you want to explore a city for a few days or if you have a lot of luggage and don’t want to fly internally with it.

  • This very much depends on the activities that interest you. Prices at international hotels, restaurants and bars tend to be higher and are charged in USD. When eating at local restaurants or taking local tours, prices will usually be in Indian rupees and it is expected that you will tip the staff a nominal amount. Your AGM India Tours driver will take you to affordable local and regional shops and restaurants that offer excellent quality food, handicrafts, experiences and clean toilet facilities.

  • We recommend that you travel with a mixture of Indian rupees for smaller local purchases and also US dollars (or a major currency of your choice) in cash.

  • Many people are concerned about using ATMs in India for fear of being robbed, however we know where reputable ATMs and banks can be found and are able to assist in finding the best currency exchange if required.

  • India is a complex, often challenging and sometimes confronting country. While we welcome younger travellers on all journeys with AGM India Tours, we respectfully suggest a minimum age of 10 or 11 for any children in your party. We have no maximum age – one of our most recent clients was 89 years of age.

  • With its ancient monuments and very crowded cityscapes, India is not always geared to travellers living with disabilities. At AGM India Tours, we are always ready and willing to assist with wheelchairs and other essential travel accessories to help smooth the way for all of our valued clients.
